Savoring: a week of snow

I'm not going to say it doesn't snow here, because it does. It just usually never sticks.

So we savored it the best way we know how, before the rain washes it away.

1. A snow kingdom.

2. Snow defying gravity as it melts in the sunshine.

3. Finding a capped column snowflake.

4. My two babies playing in tandem.

5. The warmth of a wintery flannel sheets as the snow blankets us in outside.

6. Waking up to the Midnight Snowman, slightly dusted over.

7. Noticing, upon closer inspection, his beautiful crooked nose and penny eyes.

8. Sharing in Isabelle's elation for this marshmallow world.

8. A family walk to Starbucks, tromping through the snow.

9. Miss Detail. Bella is now interested in all things tiny, trying (often futilely) to pick at stains, imperfections, and wood grain on everything and anything.

9. Concentration Lip on an 8-month old.

10. That little tooth! (And ear rubbing, which is hopefully not an overlooked ear infection.)

11. Dimple knuckles.

12. Bitsy toes in her daddy's hand.

Welcome!

Welcome! Thanks for stopping in. As you can see, I have a passion for photography (and cooking and knitting). My daughters, Bella and Lillia, are my greatest inspiration, so you might find you see a lot of them here, as well as the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Be sure to take a peek around and leave some love in the comments!
