Nature's Ornaments

angel tree

You can't imagine how hard it's snowing outside. Looks like we're in for a white Christmas, even if it turns to rain tomorrow! As I watch over a foot accumulating outside my window, I'm relishing in the irony of how I keep telling my husband how disappointed I am that it doesn't really snow in Seattle anymore. How I want to live somewhere that snow sticks around all winter, like I did as a kid, but I need to make sure that snow is as magical in my new role as a mother as it was as a child when everything was magic.

I have to say, Christmas snow is pretty darn convincing.

Merry Christmas and may all your wishes come true.

Merry Christmas!

(I have to say, for me personally? Snow is only magical when I have no place to go. Also, it often comes with ice here. Not so keen on sliding to the car with a baby in the sling! But I'm a summer girl at heart...)

You are inspiring me to get out there with my camera - I love these photos!

Happy Yuletide and Joyeux Noel to you and yours and best wishes for 2009. Have a great day,
peace,

What cool icicles. Such beautiful detail. Best to you in 2009.

Welcome!

Welcome! Thanks for stopping in. As you can see, I have a passion for photography (and cooking and knitting). My daughters, Bella and Lillia, are my greatest inspiration, so you might find you see a lot of them here, as well as the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Be sure to take a peek around and leave some love in the comments!
